Introduction to Indian Education System

India has ranked among the top most developing countries in the world in every aspect of life. One of the major core areas where the Indian government is working at a great pace is its education system. The number of schools and colleges being developed and facelifted in India is excellent evidence of the rapid development of the Indian education system.

 

Education is the key to the development of every single individual in the world. It has gifted us with great Scientists, Doctors, Engineers, Businessmen, and a vast set of the prominent workforce. These people are not just experts in their profession but have also inspired many people.

 

Here is a brief of all the stuff that a common person needs, to get the best out of the Indian Education system. It has covered every aspect of education in government schools and colleges and the complete set of instructions that will help the common public to build awareness among themselves and their children.

 

Aim of Schools

The Indian government has a stepwise and formulated set of aims. These aims are designed to combat different problems related to the education of common people. Every aim is built deliberately with precise and great concern. Here, we have listed the major aims of Indian Government schools:-

 

✒️ Provide quality education to every student. – Build an aware and alert public.

✒️ Provide students to the education system (schools). – Students are not willing to go to school.

✒️Providing better faculty to students – Govt. teachers need more self-development.

✒️Provide spiritual, moral, and cultural knowledge to the students – Students are more prone to the unlawful world.

✒️Promote physical and mental development of the students as well as the teachers – Physical and mental well-being is very important for good health.

✒️Provide our society with tackling and creative people – People lack creativity and are designed to be more robotic.

 

Types of schools

There are three types of schools in the Indian Education system. Each is equipped with different facilities and benefits as well as each type has its pros and cons. Here is a list of all three types of schools in the Indian Education system:- 

 

🎒 State Schools – These schools are funded and maintained by the state government and run by local authorities.
🎒 Academics Schools – These schools are funded and maintained by the government but not run by local authorities.
🎒 Private or Independent schools – These schools are funded by the parents and are run independently.

 

Education Provided by Government Schools

 

Education for students under the age of 6 years – The government has set up Anganwadi for the education and other benefits of the children. Anganwadi also aims at providing services to pregnant women, and Lactating mothers under the Anganwadi Service Scheme at the AWC.
Education for class 1-8th standards – There are government schools that focus majorly on primary education and provide students with all sorts of basic to advanced knowledge that will help them to develop a broad understanding of all the prominent subjects.
Education for class 9-10th standards – The Indian Education system provides students of this set with the best knowledge of all the subjects. This period of tuition helps the students to pursue their dream higher education.
Education for class 11-12th standards – This subset of the education is termed higher education and provides students with higher secondary certification(HSC) in specific subjects of the course they have completed.
Education for class graduation standards – For the students who wish to pursue further education and certification Indian government has built or supported organizations to provide quality education at a minimal cost. 

There are more govt. organizations that provide further education for students who want to build a secure carried by achieving a further and higher level of education.
